Even though there are areas that are more frequented by the gay community, all places in the city are welcoming and open-minded, making Barcelona a popular and gay-friendly destination within the gay community.

Sitges
Is one of the most beautiful cities on the Barcelona coast and was an artists’ colony at the end of the 19th century (it was where Miró was born and Dalí spent his holidays).
So it’s no surprise that it has become a popular beach vacation spot for gays, with a gay population making up nearly 30% of summer tourism.

Bilbao
Bilbao is already a benchmark in the gay world for the variety of gay and gay-friendly places. Since the late 70s there has always been a group of very popular gay venues in the city, frequented by all types of public for their open and fun nature.
The gay area of Bilbao is located in the Bilbao La Vieja neighborhood, an area in full restoration and recovery, although you can find gay or gay friendly venues scattered around other parts of the city.
Torremolinos
The Costa del Sol town becomes the fashionable destination of LGTBI tourism year after year Torremolinos has been the most important Gay Destination in Spain, various events, parties, celebrations have filled the agenda of this town in favor of the Gay Community, not only national but also international. You cannot miss this fun town.
Sevilla
Seville is a city full of bars and clubs, with many people on the street wanting to have fun. Obviously there are also many gay or gay friendly places.
In fact, Seville is the city in southern Spain with the most gay atmosphere and leisure offer.
Madrid
In Madrid there are areas specifically frequented by the LGTB community as Chueca quarter, which is located quite centrally.
There’s a different way to enjoy Madrid’s night life. Just head for the Chueca area, where all inhibitions have been cast aside to make way for fun and tolerance, and where you’ll be find a whole host of wicked venues, techno discos and designer clubs.
In fact this neighborhood has always been a beacon of modernity, and was the birthplace of the famous “Movida madrileña” (a counter cultural movement of the 70s and 80s). And as well as being the favorite hangout of the gay and transsexual community, the streets in this area are becoming more and more popular with anyone looking for first-rate nightlife.

“Desfiladero de los Gaitanes” Gorge is a natural beauty spot, placed in the centre of the province, between the towns of Alora, Antequera and Ardales. This is one of the most beautiful spots of the Malaga Mountains. Between its steep and considerably high walls, Guadalhorce River flows, after having passed through the reservoirs El Chorro (The Spurt), Guadalhorce, Guadalteba and Gaitanejo.
The Gaitanes Gorges a canyon, carved by the river Guadalhorce in the territory of Álora, which at some points is only 10 meters wide and 700 meters deep. The northern access is via Guadalhorce reservoirs and the southern is via El Chorro.
